Before you begin to install your AutoCount updates, you must first login your AutoCount to check your AutoCount version. The installation is very simple, you does not require an admin access permission to install that updates. You can done this update as a client user.
Firstly, go to Help > About to check your AutoCount version
In the About menu, check your edition to determine between ACCOUNTING, EXPRESS or P.O.S. For example, mine is Accounting edition. Next is check your AutoCount version, for example, mine is Version 1.9. Lastly is check your Windows system type. For example, mine is 64bits. If your AutoCount is running as 32bits then just download and install the 32bits version. Just go for 32bit if you are not sure about this. No need to struggle that much about this issue because you are able to use 32bits version in both 32bits and 64bits Windows system.
Pick and install the version that suit you much. For example, mine is AutoCount Accounting 1.9 64bit. So, just pick the "AutoCount Acc x64 Setup exe". Very simple is it?
Just click "Yes" to proceed to uninstall the old version.
Uninstalling process
Ok, after uninstallation done, you can now proceed to install the update. Just click "Next>" only. So simple only, no need any expert knowledge. Kids also now how to install.
Select "I Agree" then click "Next>". Simple only.
Installing AutoCount in process..........
After Installation Complete, just click "Close".
Now, login to your own account. No need an admin account, I REPEAT, NO NEED TO LOGIN AS ADMIN.
Ok, this window is asking you to upgrade database, usually only happens in first time login when you have newly done an autocount update. Before you proceed, you have to Backup your database first. So, click on "Backup" button to backup first.
Click "Backup To" to backup your autocount databse. Make sure your WinRAR is version 5.40 old version.
Backup done, now close this backup window.
Just click "Yes" to proceed upgrade database.
After you done this, make sure to inform all your colleagues, your staffs and your boss to update their AutoCount too. Even is your office Windows Server machine, just follow the steps above to update autocount. No need extra knowledge, very simple, not require a technician. Save money and time. Please don't pay money to the autocount technician again, they will charging you RM150~RM200 per update.
Please let the profiteers know that we are not a water fish. You know what I mean? Water fish mean that a person without basic knowledge, don't know the cost of that thing. They just know how to pay money to profiteers, they unaware that they are being scammed. If you are AutoCount 1.9 licensed user, you have the right to install updates for free because you are a licensed user. That's simple. I can reformat my office Windows Server and done all the SQL and autocount installation setup by myself. Why should I need to pay money to the profiteers?
